Everyone who can explain your quote is paid on how you answer it.
The contractor is paid if you buy the fix. The public adjuster takes a share of the settlement. The attorney takes a third. The broker is paid when you sign. We charge a flat fee to read the document and tell you what it says, and we are paid the same whichever way you decide.
What this is not. Not legal advice, not an engineering opinion, and not an inspection. We do not visit your building, certify anything, or promise a reduction. We read the document against the published standard and the licence record. How we source this.

A pass down the document, line by line. Every line marked clear, question, or flag. Each flag carries the provision it runs against, cited, and the question to send back — written so you can forward it without editing it. Three business days from the document arriving.
Most lines come back clear. A review that flagged everything would be telling you something about us rather than about your document.

Reviews are read by hand, one at a time, in the order they arrive. There is no software doing this yet and we are not pretending otherwise. That is also the limit: a small number of reviews at a time, while the first fifty build the price bands this site cannot honestly publish until they exist.
Why there is no price band on this site yet
Every cost page here has a visibly empty slot where a price range belongs. That is deliberate. Nobody publishes a defensible range in these trades, because every party holding the data also quotes the work — and we will not invent one to fill the gap. The bands fill as reviewed documents accumulate, labelled and dated, and not before.
Which means the first reviews are doing two jobs at once, and the people who send them are getting a service that is newer than it will be later. That is reflected in what it costs today.
